Why Should I become a Volunteer?

Becoming a volunteer at  CHIuXiD 2024 will not only allow you to contribute your skills and knowledge to make this international event successful, but you will also be able to build your knowledge in HCI and UX, while at the same time build your organization skills and broaden your professional networks in the field of HCI and UX.

How to Register

To apply to be a Student Volunteer, please fill out the information in the following Google Form and submit it:  SV CHIuXiD 2024. Selected students will be given more details about tasks and scheduling. The committee can provide with an invitation letter, should it be needed for visa purposes or other. If you have any questions not answered above, please contact SV Chair (asfarian@apps.ipb.ac.id).

Important dates:
15th October 2024 — Student volunteers’ application deadline
30th October 2024 — Notification to selected student volunteers

Roles of CHIuXiD 2024 Volunteers

As a volunteer, you will be involved in various activities as below, but you can always mention your preference to the the SV Chair (asfarian@apps.ipb.ac.id)

Researcher

Conduct research on any areas required by the committee to plan and design the best conference experience.

Event Coordinator

Organize all aspects related to running the program and tackle any technical issues that may arise.

Digital Marketing

Promote the event using digital and offline channels.

Liaison Officer

Liaise with the speakers, partners and participants before, during and after the event.

WordPress Developer

Maintain the CHIuXiD website and ensure that the information is accurate and relevant, user-friendly in both web and mobile environment.

Design & Documentation

Design the bests artworks that can be used for online and printed artefacts needed for the conference.
